Dr. Angela J. Yoon is the Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Division at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and has an interdisciplinary appointment in the Department of Pathology & Cell Biology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She holds a hospital appointment at Columbia University Medical Center and is the Director of the Oral Diagnostic Biopsy Service.

Research
As an academic Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology clinician-scientist, Dr. Yoon is engaged in number of NIH and non-NIH funded clinical studies and trials, looking to improve oral cancer risk assessment and its management. In specific, Dr. Yoon's study focuses on translating laboratory science into new molecular risk assessment strategies, and improving therapies for oral neoplasms.
