ColumbiaDoctors immunologists are dedicated to providing excellence in patient care for children and adults with immunodeficiency.  ColumbiaDoctors pediatric rheumatologists are dedicated to providing excellence in patient care for children with autoimmune disorders.

Our central approach is to provide to patients while upholding the highest standards. We focus on educating our patients and their families to empower them to be active participants in the management of their disease. We are devoted towards utilizing state-of-the-art measures to help diagnose and treat congenital immunodeficiencies and other immune and rheumatic disorders. We provide top-notch clinical services and conduct cutting-edge research. Our specialists are highly trained and board certified in Allergy and Immunology or Pediatric Rheumatology as well as in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine.

Expertise of Our Physicians

All of our academic faculty are nationally recognized clinical experts in the care of children with immune-related or autoimmune related diseases. In addition, NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital is a referral center for other children’s centers and we have the resources and staff to care for the most complex patients.

Patient Care

Depending on the condition, we may perform additional specialized procedures, laboratory testing, and consultation with specialists in other fields such as gastroenterology, pulmonology, hematology-oncology, bone marrow transplantation, and genetics.

Our team consists of specialists with wide variety of backgrounds and areas of focus. This diversity allows us to be better prepared to care for our patients’ unique needs. We provide integral diagnostic and consultative expertise for our inpatient and outpatient services.

Our specialists provide initial diagnoses, second opinions, immunologic and autoimmunologic testing, genetic testing as well as expert medical care. The initial comprehensive evaluation includes a thorough patient history, physical examination, and detailed review of previous records and test results.
