About Rosa Regincos

Rosa Regincos, is a Licensed Master Social Worker by New York State and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychiatric Social Work (in Psychiatry) at CUMC. Ms. Regincos also holds a Clinical Psychology Degree from the 'Universitat de Barcelona', Spain. At CUMC, Ms. Regincos provides individual and group therapy for mood and anxiety disorders, using mindfulness and skills-based, cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches. She is intensively trained in evidence-based trauma interventions with adults and children treatments, including Seeking Safety, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Risking Connection. 

Her clinical interests include women’s mental health, perinatal mental health, depression, anxiety and trauma. Ms. Regincos has presented extensively about her work treating trauma survivors in many conferences, including at the American Psychiatric Association. She is part of the supervision and consultation team for one of the initiatives from The Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence (OCDV) in NYC. 

She is fluent in Spanish and Catalan and can provide treatment in those languages when appropriate.
