Women's Genetics

Women’s Genetics at Columbia is dedicated to counseling patients for genetic concerns relating to conception and pregnancy management, as well as other areas of women’s health, such as a hereditary breast and ovarian cancer and maternal cardiac disease. Our goal is to provide patients with information that empowers them to make the best possible choices based on their personal and family histories, risk factors, and values and beliefs.

Our program comprises leaders in the field of reproductive genetics. We collaborate closely with molecular and cytogenomic laboratory experts, offering our patients the advantage of a multidisciplinary team in understanding and interpreting complex genetic test results in a time-sensitive, patient-centered environment. We offer a comprehensive, cutting-edge approach to the integration of genetic tools into women’s healthcare. Women’s Genetics is at the forefront of discovery and implementation of reproductive genetic technologies into patient care
