About Hyesoo Lowe

Hyesoo Lowe, MD is the medical director of the Thyroid Biopsy Program at the Columbia Thyroid Center. She is a board certified endocrinologist with a special interest in thyroid disorders including thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, autoimmune thyroid disease, and thyroid illnesses in pregnancy. After graduating from Weill Cornell Medical College, she completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine, and a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is a member of the American Thyroid Association, the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Dr. Lowe is committed to providing compassionate and individualized care according to her patients' unique needs. She has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for the New York metro area, listed in Castle Connolly's Exceptional Women in Medicine, featured among New York magazine’s Top Doctors, and given the honor of vitals.com’s Compassionate Doctor award and Patient's Choice award.
