Picture of how to do fingertip stretch exercise
  1. With your good hand, grasp your problem finger. Your thumb will be on the top side of this finger. Place your thumb just below the joint that is closest to your fingernail. The index (pointing) finger of your good hand should be underneath the tip of the problem finger.
  2. With your index finger, slowly push the tip of your problem finger up. Push until you feel a stretch. Hold for at least 15 to 30 seconds.
  3. Repeat 2 to 4 times.
