Frenuloplasty for tongue-tie

To treat tongue-tie, a procedure called frenuloplasty is done. The doctor clips the tissue (lingual frenulum) that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth. Stitches are used to close the wound. And pressure may be put on the area to stop any bleeding.
