Pediatric Epilepsy Center
We offer one of the best pediatric epilepsy programs of its kind in the United States. Our doctors receive a large number of referrals for children with intractable seizures (those that cannot be controlled with medication).
Pediatric Neuromuscular Disease Clinic
We provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care for children with spinal muscular atrophy, muscular dystrophy, and other neuromuscular disorders.
Pediatric Muscular Dystrophy Association Program
Our program applies special expertise in treating neuromuscular disorders. Neurologists collaborate with physiatrists, orthopedists, pulmonologists, psychologists, and therapists to address pediatric muscular dystrophy. Our clinic is affiliated with the National Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Spinal Muscular Atrophy Clinic
Our clinic specializes in the treatment of spinal muscular atrophy, a genetic disease that causes loss of motor neurons.
Robust Research Program
We advance the understanding and treatment of neurological conditions in children of all ages. Our pediatric neurologists have years of experience caring for children with in-born errors of metabolism, a group of inherited conditions affecting the nervous system, including Tay-Sachs disease, first described in 1934 by one of our physicians, Dr. Bernard Sachs.
