Leaders in Cerebral Palsy and Robotic Research

Our rehabilitation experts collaborate with Columbia University's Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, and Columbia Teachers College to better serve the needs of children with cerebral palsy.

We have developed robotic hand therapy to improve the arm function of children with paralysis and are currently exploring robotic therapy with TPAD (tethered pelvic assist device) for ambulatory children with cerebral palsy. Our research will help clinicians care for children with cerebral palsy who suffer from muscle weakness and balance problems.
