Pediatric Aerodigestive Center
The Pediatric Aerodigestive Center serves the complex medical needs of children with chronic respiratory concerns who may have underlying gastrointestinal conditions. Many of our young patients have already seen multiple specialists and received very different advice about how to manage their medical condition. We provide highly integrated, multidisciplinary care, bringing together pediatric specialists in gastroenterology, pulmonology, otolaryngology (Ears, Nose and Throat), speech pathology, and other subspecialties to create a unified care plan.
Our team is known for its exceptional treatment of children and adolescents with airway, breathing and swallowing disorders originating in the aerodigestive tract (throat, esophagus and stomach). We develop a comprehensive care plan tailored to the needs of every patient.
A dedicated aerodigestive center coordinator serves as the point person for all sub-specialists and helps coordinate clinic visits, diagnostic procedures, and operating room visits. We also have a wide range of pediatric specialists to take care of your child’s needs including but not limited to surgery, allergy and immunology, genetics, cardiology and sleep physicians.
