CUMC/Neurological Institute of New York
The Neurological Institute of New York, a premier center for the care of patients with neurological disorders, is located on the campus of Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC). Established in 1909, The Neurological Institute was the first of its kind in the nation: a specialty hospital specifically for the study and treatment of nervous system disorders.
Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC), a 20-acre campus in the Washington Heights community of Northern Manhattan, is the flagship campus for ColumbiaDoctors, the faculty practice of Columbia University. Faculty members of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, College of Dental Medicine, and School of Nursing are committed to providing patients with the highest-quality care. At CUMC, ColumbiaDoctors offers general and specialized medical, dental, and nursing services. Along with our partners, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and the New York State Psychiatric Institute, we offer a full range of services to meet the needs of every patient. Whether you are in a physician’s office or the hospital, we are dedicated to providing the services you need, from routine care to the most advanced and specialized care.
