- Explicit fetal movement guidance
- Sophisticated genetic screening and testing
- High-level prenatal and obstetrics care
- Neonatology consultations
- 24/7 access to Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists
Our Approach
At the Rainbow Clinic, patients who have experienced the birth of a stillborn child, multiple miscarriages, or a neonatal loss receive individualized care tailored to their unique needs and access to specialized services designed to support women and their families during a ‘rainbow baby’ pregnancy. Together, patients and their providers develop a plan to support conception and positive pregnancy outcomes in an environment equipped to reduce anxiety and help prevent future perinatal losses.
Our team works with women throughout pregnancy to closely monitor fetal development and status. Patients at the Rainbow Clinic receive more ultrasounds than a typical patient would. The Clinic also provides explicit fetal movement guidelines to patients, allowing them to monitor some aspects of fetal well-being at home, outside of the clinical setting.
Patients of the Rainbow Clinic are highly encouraged to schedule as many appointments with their provider as they see fit. Our team’s top priority is to develop open, trusting relationships with patients and create a comfortable, welcoming environment in the Rainbow Clinic. Every team member at the clinic has received specialized training in supporting patients experiencing pregnancy after loss. Our team of doctors, including specialists in maternal-fetal medicine, neonatology, obstetric anesthesia, and psychiatry, as well as our nurses, medical assistants, sonographers, mental health providers, and administrative staff, are here to support you throughout your conception and pregnancy journey.
